The flowers are beautiful! Most of ours have come and gone here in the southern states.

Thank you! Are you on to summer blooms now? You must have some flowers that like the heat!

We are on to summer blooms! Our cone flowers (echinacea) are just about to bloom, and we’ve got a few others that are beautiful, despite the fact that I don’t know what they are (but my wife does).

I love our cone flowers! Ours are not blooming yet but have buds. Soon we’ll have phlox, Ladies Mantle, Coral Bells, Zinnia (a favorite), and asters (another favorite). But, I think the show my liastris puts on it is the best! I have another month or so to wait for the tall purple spikes that always brighten my day!

Cone flowers are one of my favorites! Our clematis is a beautiful purple as well, but they’ve come and gone.

Ahh, you probably have a Jackmanii Clematis! The color of that variety is beautiful! The school garden I cared for during the last two years had two beautiful Jackmanii Clematis! They are definitely a show stopper!
