Brief Update on Links & Life
Bow River Valley, Banff. © Carol Labuzzetta, 2019.

Yesterday, I linked my Medium.com post on my blog here. I wrote the post on Medium and left a link here. Overnight, it went viral and is still accumulating views and has been read almost 1,000 times. It’s too bad that I’m not already behind the paywall on that platform! If you’d like to read it but didn’t, there’s a link to yesterday’s post at the bottom of this page.

Today, I wrote on Medium.com again. Today’s post was a travel post on places to visit and things to do in Canada. Here is the link for that post: https://carollabuzzetta.medium.com/ten-things-to-love-about-visiting-canada-16f4b8fb841

I’m trying some new ways of posting and watching what happens to views. In the last week, I’ve learned about headline writing, bio writing, and tagging on Medium.com. I’ve also been reading a lot of other posts from bloggers that are new to me.

This blog will not disappear but I am trying to gain a wider following and Medium is helping me to do that. I also have two other writing projects that I am trying to finish and both have deadlines. One is a short story due by August 1st, 2022. The other is an application for writing for hire for a beloved children’s magazine.

I hope you wish me luck as I move forward with my writing. I’ll keep you updated. In the meantime, check out the post from yesterday: https://carollabuzzetta.medium.com/monitoring-for-monarch-butterflies-this-years-milkweed-tells-the-story-997cd8569112.

Thank you!
