Getting to Know You
I opened the application folder to glean the details of our adoption.
Most of it was things we already knew.
NAME: Callie Calico Manx
AGE: 10 months
SEX: Female
WEIGHT: Six pounds
SKILLS; Self Sufficient – lived outside during the winter. Good eater.
PERSONALITY: Craves attention. Quiet. Not a talker. Outgoing. Able to get along with Canine species and Homo sapiens. Easy to please.
A veterinarian administered personality test classified Callie, as a Personal Assistant
She will help type on a computer keyboard.
She will turn the pages of a newspaper.
She will bat your eyelashes to make sure they remain closed at night.
She will sleep nose to nose with you to make sure you are breathing.
She will hop on and off the bed to make sure you are awake.
She will follow you around to make sure you are safe.
She’ll watch the dog.
She’ll reach out to those who facetime you.
She’ll keep you company when you need some.
She’ll snuggle with you on the couch or in bed.
She promises not to make unnecessary work by using her box and eating her food.
She’ll do all these things and more…

Adoption accepted: 2/20/23
Status: totally in love, found a happy home.
