Silent Sunday & More

Last week I posted a Silent Sunday and it wasn’t viewed (at all). I’m not sure if something was up with the post or if people just missed it because I’ve been irregular in posting them. Here is the link:

June was a great month for me on Medium. I was a top writer in Poetry and I had my second-highest month of earnings on that platform. Don’t get too excited – I haven’t cracked $50.00 for a month yet!

I thought I’d share a few links to successful posts there as well.

July is moving fast. We had a houseful of visitors this past week – both family and friends. We ate well, had smores, lounged on the deck, and went rowing and fishing with friends that had two small children in tow. It’s been a while since catching a fish was so exciting!

As a result, I haven’t had much downtime to write. It’s been a push to just get the Medium post out – and some days I haven’t! But there are a few in queues for different publications that I’m excited to share.

One is on monarchs – a July update. I’ve seen more butterflies this summer than the last few. I’ve also spotted eggs and some large larvae. I am so hopeful that I ordered tags from Monarch Watch and will be trying to catch some wild monarchs in late August and September since I am no longer raising them. It’ll be interesting. I’ll need a good net, that’s for sure.

I’ll close with some photos from my gardens and in the woods for this week, as it is a mixed post (not just photos).
