The Apples in My Orchard

This is day nineteen of National Poetry Month. I’ve been in Colorado since last Saturday, visiting my oldest son. We’ve had a lot of fun, and I’ll write more about our time together in the coming weeks.

But the Verse of Ages prompt for today is altitude. I’m not completely happy with what I came up with, so I labeled my poem as a draft. I hope to keep playing with it. The mountains here are incredible!
