Yesterday, I missed writing a poem for National Poetry Month. I traveled from Colorado to Minnesota and did not write while I waited for my flight in the Denver airport.
I feel kind of bad about it as I was on a streak, but in the end, it’s fine. I’m home now and back at it tonight.
Yesterday was Easter for those who celebrate. Happy Easter!
The prompt word was yearn. You could say I was yearning for home. I’d been away ten days by the time I got home today, and I miss my husband when I’m not with him. I did get to see all three of my sons in the last 24 hours. That makes my heart happy.
This is what I came up with for yearn:

And today's word is dabble. I've been dabbling in watercolors. And hope to get back to it soon

Dabble in Color
