What is Silent Sunday?

It is a regular post (since May 2017) on my blog that consists only of my photography based on a theme of my choice. This spring, I am featuring travel by using the alphabet to narrow my choices. Usually, there is no text except for the captions.

Thanks for stopping by!

    Carol,

I love your photos! You guys must have had a wonderful time! How lucky for you to hear and see a bag piper in such a dashing uniform! I love hearing bag pipes. One of my cousin’s actually had a bag piper at her wedding playing as we walked in to the church. Her husband is Scottish. Did you know that the Irish pipes aren’t as loud as the Scottish pipes. the sound is a little different, too but still beautiful.

Thank you for the gorgeous New Year post card and poem. I love it! The line “legends galloping through time” gives me goose bumps and images of horses galloping in mist. Great line!

Thanks for stopping by Gail, and for your wonderful comments. We enjoyed Scotland very much. There were several street musicians in Edinburgh. Can’t wait to go back. And, no, I did not know there was a difference between Scottish and Irish bagpipes! Interesting! Thanks!
