    Grandma and I just enjoyed your silent Sunday photos. I love the Liatris. They remind me of trees in The Lorax. Thanks for sharing!

    Just stunning. I wish we had these beauties. Our most striking butterflies are Red Admirals, Painted Ladies and Peacock butterflies. Do you get any of these? Monarchs look huge! I can see why they mean so much to you.

      Thanks so much for your comments. We do have painted ladies and red admirals. I’ve never heard of the Peacock Butterflies, however. Monarchs typically have a wingspan of 3.5 to 4.8 inches.
