They are one of my favorites, too! I just bought a new variety and put them behind our barn….hopefully, next year they will draw some monarchs there! Thanks for reading and commenting! I hope you are having a good day! 🙂

Just stunning. I wish we had these beauties. Our most striking butterflies are Red Admirals, Painted Ladies and Peacock butterflies. Do you get any of these? Monarchs look huge! I can see why they mean so much to you.

Thanks so much for your comments. We do have painted ladies and red admirals. I’ve never heard of the Peacock Butterflies, however. Monarchs typically have a wingspan of 3.5 to 4.8 inches.
