Looking down the National Mall at night it is easy to see how the buildings are aligned. We are outside the Lincoln Memorial. The Washington Memorial, the WWII memorial, and the Capitol Dome can all be seen beyond the reflecting pool. Let’s not forget how special this place is. © Carol Labuzzetta, 2019.
