Things I’ve Learned To Be True (For Me)

Family matters more when we age…..


Being valued is as important as being paid,

receiving both is a very fortunate occurrence, indeed.


I don’t like to be rushed.


Even though people mean well, you don’t have to like it.


It’s important to know when to take a step back.


I like to bake better than I like to cook.


I don’t like conflict.


Adequate sleep is one of the most important ways to stay healthy.


There are rude people everywhere – just stay away from them.


Children observe adults – mind what you are saying and doing.


It’s more important to be a better listener than a great storyteller.


Thank people for the things they do for you.


Choose to be happy.


If parents worried half as much about academics as they have about masking, we’d have a better educational system.


Christmas music makes me happy – even when it’s played too early!


Live a full life, each day and every day.


Our environment won’t fix itself. Give a damn about the Earth. We broke it. Let’s fix it!


Environmental educators need to be more paid for their expertise.


The use of community facilities should be covered by our tax dollars.


You don’t need a title to be a leader.


I think I”m on the third re-invention of myself. Nurse. Teacher. Author.
