Today is Silent Sunday. It is a day during the week that I post only my photographs on a theme of my own choosing. For more information on the context of the photos, you can check my Medium.com page on Sunday nights. Thank you!

  1. Carol, these are beautiful photos! I love the red in the reflections. This past Sunday, my husband and I hiked Cat Mountain. In the beginning of the hike, you travel along a pond where I always love to take photos of the fall colors in the mountains reflecting on the pond. I did get some color, but not as good as I have in the past. On the summit, there was lots of color in the mountains across Lake George, but it was a bit hazy, so the colors didn’t show up so well.

I tried to comment on your Friday blog, I think from 10/14, but it said it was gone. I will try again, but in case it won’t let me write, I like your post about the deciduous tree with the pinecones!

    1. Thanks, Gail! It’s nice to know you and your husband are hikers, too. Thanks for visiting. I’m sorry about the comments issue – I think WordPress gets a bit wonky – I’ve had others tell me the same – it wouldn’t let them. I’ve looked into it and cannot find anything marked to prevent commenting. I’ll go back and look on the 14th but thanks for trying and letting me know! Happy Hiking!
