Despite saying no poetry on vacation, I wrote these…

tropical breezes
soothing my icy old soul
life continues here

calm azure waters
kites carrying cares away
tropical healing

Hanging Hemlocks path
Tramping through snow-laden woods
Show slivers of sun
My blog is under reconstruction. Please bear with me as it takes on my words.
Thank you!

Beautiful images captured in haiku. Thanks for sharing. Your vacation time looks amazing, blue skies and warm breezes. Ah!
Margaret, Hello! I so appreciate you stopping by to view my haiku and vacation photos. While I did not participate in Poetry Friday this week, I did take a peek at the posts and comments. I’ll return the favor! Thanks, again! I hope you are doing well.
Carol, the colors in the ocean pics are amazing! Those hemlocks weighed down with heavy snow are beautiful, too! I love your haiku, too. These lines I especially resonated with “soothing my icy old soul, kites carrying cares away / tropical healing, and snow laden woods / show slivers of sun. Beautiful! Thank you for sharing and the inspiration.
Thanks so much Gail! I appreciate the feedback and compliments. Nature, travel, snd color are three of my biggest inspirations. It’s nice to have them all in one place.
