What’s up with all the photos?
I’ve been doing something fun over the last few days. On December 29th, 30th, and 31st, I posted 10-16 of my favorite photos. Each day, vote on the one you like best for that day’s group in the comments. Just tell me the photo that speaks to you and why. It can be very brief. I will keep track and let you know the overall winner in the new year! Thanks! I look forward to your votes and comments!
Photos for the 29th can be found here. Photos for the 30th can be found here. You can still place a vote for your favorite on those days if you haven’t already.
Choosing today’s photos was difficult as I usually take hundreds (or even over a thousand photos when I am traveling). As a result, I get many that I like. I hope you like at least a few of the ones I chose for today. Take a look, and let me know which one you like and why in the comments.
One more part:
Those that vote by commenting which photo you like best on my blog any day from 12/29 – 12/31 will be entered in a drawing to receive one 12 x 16 print of a photo of your choice from all the photos posted in the next three days! Vote once a day for the photo you like best on each day’s blog post! It’ll increase your odds of winning! Have fun! The winner will be announced on 1/2/20.
The Beauty of Lake Louise. I visited there as a child – it is still a magical memory. And this is the view we had. Off the hotel terrace?

No we did not go to The Chateau but it is the view to the right of the hotel on a landing, overlooking the lake. Glad to know it hasn’t changed much.

Sulphur Mountain — the technical aspects are amazing. There is a visually stunning background, midground (I think I just made that up), and foreground.

Thank you for the compliment! I really like this photo for the juxtaposition of the man made walkway as opposed to the natural beauty of the mountains.

Boom lake looks amazing! 🙂 That’ll be my vote.

Thank you! It was amazing. One has to hike about five miles in to reach it but then 3 members of my family swim in the glacier fed lake……a very cool (icy) experience in a beautiful spot. Thanks for voting!
